The All Units button in the top right of Custodian gives you a complete list of every sensor registered to your account, across all your sites and areas.
Use it to find a specific sensor quickly, check the health of your entire network, or review sensors that may need attention, without opening each site individually.
What you can see for each sensor
- Last measurement: when the sensor last sent a reading
- Last contact: when the sensor last communicated with the platform
- Measurement frequency: how often the sensor is transmitting data
- Data quality: whether the sensor is performing reliably
- Battery life: remaining charge and estimated time to replacement
- Climate rule: which rule the sensor is connected to, if any
- Notification status: whether notification rules are active for this sensor
Rules applied to a sensor
Click the arrow at the end of a sensor's row to expand it. Alongside battery, measurement interval, and data quality, the expanded panel lists every rule governing that sensor:
- Climate Rule: the active climate rules applied to the sensor. Each entry shows how many notification rules it has, or No notification rules if none are set up
- Default Rules: the built-in rules (such as Connection) that always apply, each with its own notification rule count
This is a quick way to check, for a single sensor, which rules are watching it and whether an alert would actually be sent.
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar to find a sensor by name. Use the filter options to narrow the list by site, area, connection status, or other criteria.
You can access sensor settings directly from this page without navigating to the individual site first.
