When you create a PDF report and enable the AI-generated summary option, Custodian will automatically produce a plain-language analysis of your climate data for the selected period.
The summary typically covers three areas:
- Overall Averages vs. Desired: how your average readings compare to the threshold values set in your climate rules
- Out-of-Range Deviations: specific sensors and readings that exceeded local thresholds during the period, broken down by measurement type
- Conservation Risks: an assessment of what the deviations could mean for the objects or materials housed in those spaces
Editing the summary
The AI summary is a starting point. You can rewrite any part of it to better reflect your findings before sharing or archiving the report.
To edit the summary:
- Find the report in the Reports list and click Edit
- The report preview opens on the left side of the screen, with the summary text on the right
- Make your changes directly in the text field
- Click Save to apply them
Your edits are saved to the report and will appear in the next PDF download.
